Hi,
My phone gets locked with password every 30 minutes of sleep, which is my activesync profile. Yet, once in a while i have to leave my phone, and i do not wish people using it.
Is there any way of forcing an immediate lock with password? And i saw some suggestion of changing the.activesync profile to request a paswprd on any unlock, but that's just enslavement..

Thanks!

You need to go to Settings > Security > Screen Lock & choose a lock method suitable to you.
Once done, you will see an option just below that saying : Lock Screen After
You can change that accordingly.

Hi kgs1992, thanks forbyour reply.

I'm familliar with changing the amount of time to lock, i set it to 30 minute as its the Max allowed by the activesync policy. I'm against passwords for my daily use, but once in a while i wish to lock the phone with password immediately.
That is without changing the policy back and forth.
The closest i got was performing a 'hot reboot' but that would reset the phone state. And i wish some open apps to stay that way.

Is there a way for some widget or app that would just lock with password immediately?

Well, if you have Cerberus, lookout premium or avg premuim you could always just issue the lock command to the device. That would lock the whole phone down like. I think it can be done by both txt and website.:D
