I just installed my first rom. Its one the Calkulins EL29 one. I did a Nandroid backup and also a Titanium Backup. I'm new to all this so was wondering what is the quickest way to get all my apps and all that back. Sorry if this was asked before. Thanks.

Good to see a newbie asking questions instead of just doing things and bricking your phone. If your on GB and flashing to another GB rom, (using your nandroid backup) you can also boot into cwm and advanced restore your data as well ;). Because your new you should consider reading my guide to avoid bricking your phone if you decide to flash to ICS anytime soon

Thanks for the heads up my man. I'll definitely have to check out your guide. Are you running an ICS rom now? If so how is it?

Idk if it's worth it for you, but I'd highly recommend purchasing the pro version of titanium. I know its like $6 but the upgraded features are awesome.

For instance, what you're about to do, one of the upgrades would be not having to press install as it goes through each of your apps. You'd just press batch install and set your phone down

That's just one small feature of the upgraded. One of the only apps I had zero problem paying for! :)

I always buy the paid versions for apps like that to support the developers. It worked like a charm :).

If you flash a new rom then yes restoring system data can potentially cause problems. I never back up system data because I change roms to frequently.

Always a good idea to backup system data or you may not be saved someday. Luckily for us Samsung includes download for Odin, other devices you may not be so lucky, and without a full nandroid you may be screwed (happens on tabs all the time) ;) happy flashing!
