[Q] Internal memory missing - recommendations to fix partition

I'm missing memory - I should have 16GB plus my SD Card of 2GB. Instead I have only 5 GB of storage.

I plan on flashing a new PIT file - Any recommendations on getting a good PIT file for SGH-i777?
If I modify the partitions and then restore an old backup from CWM-recovery, will the partitions be reverted back to what the partitions were when the backup was made?

The app Storage Partition tells me the following:
There is is a partition called mmcblk1 of 9.7 GB
Alias: UMS
Filesystem: xx (ie n/a)
Mount: Not Mounted

Apps 795/4032 MB
External Storage 8/20 MB

Mounts:
/efs 8/20 MB
/cache 4/98 MB
/system 638/1008 MB

/efs 8/20 MB (yes, this is repeated)
