A guy in this video has lots of things you should try to make it come up... He had to install new drivers from Windows update... I would watch this and try what he did.

I give up i tried everything. I tried replacing the micro usb port, factory reset, a different cord, a different computer but no luck :/

Then he said read the OP (from the other thread. I'm still trying to update my dummy s3 mini but I can't wipe the catch for some reason. I keep getting an error and it still knows it custom (maybe its Knox).

The cause may be kingroot.

If your trying to update it try using Odin or Samsung kies those will allow you to update but you may lose root

I might have to do that. Hopefully kies wireless works good because I deleted part of the usb kies on dummy s3mini. I already took off the root but it still says that it's custom. I might just factory reset :)

to get rid of kingroot

then install busybox and run it install binary
go to safetrap and install recovery and reboot

also built the recovery for vzw s3 mini so nobody try at&t version.
