I think that you are confused.
Both Droid Maxx and Moto Maxx are new models, this is the XT910 and Xt912 thread, and as 2011 devices, they would not get official lollipop.
The newest firmware officially released for these models was Jelly Bean 4.1.2

Ah if only... Don't think the xt91x could handle it... But I haven't tried the lollipop ROMs yet so who knows

Lollipop actually runs pretty damn good on my xt912! I have the newest CM12 on my stock slot and running good old dependable Black Widow in slot 1 !
