Prior to purchase decision - I'm trying to give myself a crash course on Getting a new ROM on this device and rooted for Android Marketplace.
I've spent a bit of time focused on the Nook Color and I gather per that device - you need to use a uSD in order to root the nook with autonooter - or alternative method. Then as I understand you can add CWR and manage your ROM's.
While trying to find a similar cookie cutter method - I found the video on stickypost -
Installing Clockwork TNT Lite 4.20 from Youtube per ehunyadi ( who seems to contribute to this site )
Is this device pre-rooted? If I pick one of these up in the next day or 2 - can I play around with the G tab - software update and sideload an app before rooting - or would that somehow limit my options for installing CWR and / or new ROM onto the device. ( I think it doesn't make a difference - but this Android is completely new to me - never used it before on any device )
I'd like to test drive and make sure the screen suits my needs to use with EZpdf - and Kindle before installing a custom ROM
