Hi all,

I unlocked my bootloader and rooted my phone a while ago. Everything appeared to go well. I've installed NottachTrix version 1.2.9 and now 1.3.1 and had the same problem with both ROMs.

Everytime I do a google search by susing the magnifiying glass button in bottom right of the phone I have to agree to Google's terms and conditions. I'm sure I'm only supposed to agree to that once! Also when I run Titanium backup I get an message saying:

Warning
You ROM is rooted but the "su" binary has non-optimal access rights, which may cause problems.
Titanium offers to fix the problem to which I agree. I get a message saying:

Access rights on the "su" binary were successfully corrected from "0:0 [6755]" to "0:0 [6755]".
(yes both codes are exactly the same).

I'm asked to reboot for the changes to take effect but after boot when I run Titanmium I get the same message again. Titanium seems to run perfectly anyway and backup and restore works fine.

Any idea what's causing these two hiccups and how I could fix it?

Cheers

I'm running CyanogenMod7 for the Atrix. I had a problem similar to this where, inexplicably, su stopped working. The app was granting permission, but nothing was working right. I have seen several threads that say this and they say you can flash Superuser 3.1.3 or 3.2 RC3 zip file from AndroidSU.com to fix it.

Unfortunately, the only way I could fix mine was to restore a backup. That being said, anytime I make changes to my phone, I run a backup in CWM Recovery first, then restore if something goes wrong. I was lucky enough to have a recent backup that only removed a couple of apps.
