I've used my Slate 7 Extreme to stream movies from google play quite extensively in the past, with the last time I successfully streamed a movie was about 5 weeks ago.
I tried renting a movie about 2 weeks ago, downloaded it, and the tablet froze on playback. I had to hold down the power button and reset it to get it to work again. I tried repeatedly, and I had the same result every time.
I've tried a hard reset, reflashing the latest firmware, and even experimented with removing the SD card and booting into safe mode to see if anything made the problem go away. So far, no luck.
Can anyone else stream anything via Play Movies? Hopefully it's not just me...
