[Q] It's possible to upload Firmware?

I have a question for you guys:
My new Titan brand Vodafone has firmware 1600.2200.20501.165
I think is old, and i'd like to update with 1600.2200.20501.401 but Zune tell me there is no update for my phone.
It's is possible to force the firmware via cab sender or anything else (it was possible with my old Omnia 7)?
If yes where i can find a guide to do that?
It is possibile to upload a nobrand firmware to remove the Vodafone brand?

Using Gold Card + Y-cable method to flash 2.05 EU Rom.

but with this vodafone bootloader u cant flash the 2.05 rom!
just flash the new bootloader from htc webside and then flash the 2.05 rom

here the bootloader!!!!! flash first!!!!!!

after that u can flash the unbranded shipped 2.05 rom with goldcard

That's really interesting!
I have already flashed the firmware from htc site!
So, i can use a common micros SD that i already posses and i only need to buy the Y usb cable and than i can upload the unbranded rom to my titan?
Do you thing that is a good idea to do that ?
Whare can i download the rom to upload ?

How is your AT&T HTC Titan PI39100 after this upgrade using Gold Card + Y-cable method to flash 2.05 EU Rom?
Does it totally functional (software and hardware) without any AT&T customizations? Did AT&T 2nd Boot Screen also disapear?
Could you please post a picture of your Settings => About (with full informations)?
After this HTC upgrade is it possible still upgrading direct from Zune like HTC Titan (EU) genuine or Y-Cable process will be everytime necessary?

Did it worked to fix your HTC Titan AT&T?
I'm also owner of a Titan AT&T PI39100 with SIM Card Unlocked and still thinking if I will or will not HSPL it:

SPL - 1.10.160015.3 (132409)
eMMC SAMSUNG 15028MB
Touch A(F:81, ID::1, V11, B:F8)
Radio - 16.23.02.26A

I'm concerned if something goes wrong how to recover to original ROM + SPL.

I tried many times but i can't update the rom
I tried this:
- i have downloaded this rom: http://www.filefactory.com/file/1ybq4xqcazyp/n/IMG_Eternity_HTC_Europe_2.05.401
- i have bought the Y cable and the famale-fame usb
- i have formatted the miniSD in FAT32
- i have renamed the rom in ETERIMG.nbh and copied to the miniSD
- run goldcartool and patched the miniSD with goldgard.img
- i have insered the miniSD in the miniSD reader, then, the miniSD reader with the Y usb cable
- 1 side of the Y usb cable connected to the pc
- 1 side of the Y usb cable connected to the phone
- restart phone in USB HOST mode but it always show me "Entering USB Mode"
and the upload does not begin....
what am i doing wrong ???
