[Q] Java security threat

Don't know if this the right place to post this in but here it goes.

There has been a big security vulnerability discovered in the Java-platform and my question
is if this can affect Android and be used as an exploit to gain access to the phones?

It seems pretty big since there is no workaround it. What do you think? I'm not a Java-developer
so I can't say how it can impact the devices but maybe someone with deeper knowledge can comment?

Good. I thought I'd ask to be sure. It would be a catastrophe if all the phones where in danger because of a bug in the core-os (not that there
are not bugs but anyway).
