[Q] Kies & Google Play error on SGS III

Good day.


Ive read through the relevant threads on your site (those i could find, despite your nice search options.).

I have an unbranded Samsung Galaxy S3 with Android version 4.0.4 - standard directly from Samsung, ive updated the OS once or twice.

Today around 2½ hours ago, i were trying to install Blizzards Authenticator for Android application. However i were never able to finish the "downloading" part. So i worked around on the phone, first going into task manager and cleaning the cache on google play and the download manager.
Then did a reboot.

That did'nt solve anything.

I then tried to start up Kies, to solve in via the PC (Win 7 64 bit).

My computer did not react to start Kies, so i rebooted my PC and got this image on start up:

- cant insert due to being a noob on the site


Its on Danish but basicly its saying that there is a problem with kies.exe and the c:\windows\system\dwrite.dll and therefore it cannot start up.


I then decided to uninstall Kies, and try to reinstall the same version again: Kies_2.3.2.12054_20_1

Which then promt me with the following image:

- cant insert due to being a noob on the site
Error 1152 - cant extract

I then did a complete reset of the phone, but that have not helped me further.

Now i have zero apps on the phone as Google Play are not able to download anything at all.


So im getting really sad right now, this is my first experience with Android (got the phone two days ago) and ive been really really happy with everything until not.

Also im right now in Belgium (had a friend bring the phone from Denmark to Belgium for me), so i can't just go to the dealer and hand them the phone back :(.


Any help is greatly appreciated!
