Currently on Nook Color overclocked til I upgrade to the TF.

One thing I'm looking forward to is faster response from android apps like Kindle Reader. I read alot of reference type books where I have to go back and forth to the table of contents. For page turner books, the speed is peachy. But for jumping around in a book alot, there is notable wait time between when you move around within the book via tables and and links.

If I upgrade to a TF 1 or TF prime, will the internal navigation links in Amazon Kindle books be sped up dramatically ( with the Prime - I'm hoping zero down time ). I anticipate huge gains with .pdfs that render, but not sure about simple apps like the Kindle App..?

Thanks

I don't own a Kindle or Nook, so there's limits to what I can say about either's app; I only use the Kindle one. It works sufficently quick for my tasks but so does my Optimus T, mostly pager turners as you call it. Do you have something (free) that someone here could download and test to a checklist?

AFAIK the Kindle app does not do PDFs on Android. Polaris and MyLibrary do out of box on the TF101 as do several apps in the market. For that feature Adobes is probably best.

I got my .pdf's covered with EZpdf.

Kindle app is just for reference type books ( frequent bookmarked and topic searching using index and Table of Contents ) I order from Amazon.

Anybody could test what I'm looking at, by opening a Kindle book anywhere on their tab, and jumping around in the book using bookmarks and Table of contents. Is there any delayed slowness. Not page lag, but slowness in executing the page loads as you click the hyperlink or swipe a page in the table of contents.

Thanks

I just tested "Fifteen Thosuand Useful Phrases", a reference collection, using the Menu -> Go to -> Location and it was instant. Jumping from 342 to 8654 in miliseconds. And I'm using Honeycomb on a TF 101
