[Q] KITKAT ROM V2 and Odin Troubles!

To whom that may help me. I have an AT&T SM-N900A Note 3, that is flashed on Knoxraid v2.6 aka: JB rom. I tried multiple times to get the KITKAT versions versions on, but the part I get stuck at is STEP 8 in this tutorial. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2577273
I get into download mode and Odin never registers that my phone is their in download mode. I finally reinstalled my phone back to JB. But it is driving me crazy that I can not get my phone to work properly with Odin.

Maybe your device drivers are wrong if odin doesn't recognize your phone?

You can open Kies 3, plug in your phone, click tools - re-install device drivers.

That was the problem! I went and installed the drivers but on a different windows 7 machine and I was able to flash and all went well. Thank You for your help!

Tjat jappened to me. It was driving me nits, my phone was recognized by the computer and files could be transfered back and forth. But ODIN never lid up. I uninstalled kies agaon and started from scratch. The problem was that only half of the drivers were installed. When the window of "installing drivers, click here to see...whatever" you have to wait for ALL drvers to install. And in my computer took almost 7 to 8 minutes. After that, ODIN was good and O flashed.
