Can't explain this. I've tried flashing back to clocwork and then reflash RA but it's still the wrong version. In Rom manager, once I falsh RA, it says I have 2.2.2. When I go into recovery it's 2.2.1. This version gave me many probs when it first came out and does not backup and restore properly. It takes forever and I don't trust it.

I've tried uninstalling Rom Manager and reinstalling several times anf flashing back and forth between recoveries with no luck. Any ideas?

I have never used rom manager, but i believe it only downloads the newest RA. If you look through that tread you can find the older versions.

What's happening exactly is Rom manager shows the latest RA being 2.2.2 but when I flash I get 2.2.1. It worked fine on my wife's evo and gave her 2.2.2. Also in rom manager, after flashing RA, it says that I have 2.2.2 but when I go to recovery it's 2.2.1. I have no idea what's going on.

It's an error there's no 2.2.2, its really 2.2.1, rom manager displays it wrong

Its a error. There is no 2.2.2. There's 2.1, 2.2, 2.2.1 and now beta 2.3 is out. If its says it on your wifes phone then its just a mistake. Go try 2.3 or go back to 1.8. Install it manually thru adb or fastboot.

Do you have the commands to do through adb. I've never used it Before. I have both 1.8 and 2.3. Just don't know how to install

Exactly what i tried to explain, it says through clockwork i have 2.2.2 and when i boot into recovery there it says 2.2.1...If you go to the official amon ra recovery thread, it says right there, 2.2.1 latest version, there is 2.2.2, it's an error...
