Descendant is a customised Android ROM that focuses on enhancing UX and UI
over stock Android along useful features.

Mirrors and binary manipulation aren't allowed because they violate our EULA and TOS.
If something of the said above happens, we'll pursue legal action and DMCAs.

Same as any ROM.
Do the necessary wipes and flash the ROM.
No wipes are needed between updates from Descendant itself, unless specified.

If you're having problem with SafetyNet, please, install Magisk along the following modules:
SafetyPatcher
Magisk Hide Props.

But please, mind, we won't support any issue arising from Magisk nor relative modules.

@Dil3mm4 great rom very smooth no problems so far just wish I could move the clock to the right side and and also could you add 3 finger screenshot also if you could add long press power button for flashlight please if not I will understand thanks for a great rom

I am having the "To start Android, enter your password" error after boot.

I did a clean install. Then I got the error. I tried to install the Evolution X Rom and Pixel Experience and I didn't have the error. I flashed the latest Orange Fox recovery.

Please help.

You have to format data in OrangeFox recovery. It's under "manage partitions"

Wow. It worked! Can't believed I have searched the net for answers and tried a lot of troubleshooting only to find out the answer is here at xda. Thanks mate!

I was finally able to install the ROM but I can't update and install apps. I am getting the error "Can't update [app name] Try again, and if it still doesn't work, see common ways to fix the problem."

Please help.

Those messages are tha main reason developing has moved from forums to telegram groups, sadly.

Great UI and the features seem quite reasonable compared to similar ROMs, if the stability and battery it's as good as the UI it surely will be on top.
