[Q] Little confused about restore

Hi,

This may be a question answered elsewhere but I did search and couldn't find the explanation in a way that made sense to me. With that said I apologize if this is semi-common knowledge.


I was running stock rooted until the auto-update. I'm thinking about putting on cm10 or cm11 emmc as that looks like the best way to go.
I know I can restore the ROM but what about recovery? If I need to deal with B&N or just want to fall back, can I restore the recovery to stock?
If I can could somebody post the link?

I've looked through the rooting and ROM flashing threads, but got a little turned around in understanding what methods are used for which procedure.

To put stock back to internal memory, including recovery, go to my HD/HD+ CWM thread linked in my signature and flash the plain stock zip from item 6 followed by a factory reset in CWM.
