Just got my phone and I was thinking im going to go with this case. Have any of you tried it? If so how does it fit and how is port access out of the box? Does anyone suggest I should not buy this and why?

For the price it is a bit high for me. I actually almost bought this combo as well. But after hearing some people with similar cases say the belt clip goes after awhile. But it does look ok for what it is. The case looks like a mobi hard case I had early on when I first got my phone with rubberized finish. It looked good and protected well, it was a bit too bulky for me for what it was.

Oh and another thing that kept me away from this case was that if you wanted to use the kickstand with the phone, you would need to remove the entire case just to use the kickstand. I opted for the Seidio Active kickstand because of this. Just a fyi.

GL And post pics if you do decide to purchase it.

That is a bit different, pretty cool looking. But like other mesh type cases, you may have issues with lint in the holes if you put that phone in your pocket lol...

To update my current case is the clear Aprolink hybrid plastic/tpu outline case. I now have a white back so I wanted my case to be as clear as possible and have a good protection against the top and bottom portion of my phone. I have the Seidio Active kickstand case which is great when traveling but for day to day I use the Active holster with my Aprolink.

Here are some pics. All the buttons and cut outs line up perfectly. And this doesn't suffer from the bulge when the usb plug is plugged in. However it is a bit expensive for a tpu/hybrid case, but IMO is worth the price. I paid about 30 USD for it. It may be difficult for most to stomach the price to get this and my be happy with a 8USD tpu case, which I have as well, but wasn't totally happy with the fitment on the top portion and volume rockers.
That case looks pretty good, have you dropped your phone yet? Does it offer good shock absorption when dropped?

I finally got my Aprolink case. If you are interested - click the picture to see 30+ photos of my case.

Overall, not a bad case but transparent part scratches easily if you have something else in your pocket.

Droppage ... so far case and phone survived few 3-4 ft falls on a concrete floor and asphalt.

Nice! And I agree with the scratches, but I can live with because mine is clear and can't be seen when the case is on. And plus it protects pretty well for what it is and is not (it's not a Seidio Active case-see bulky).

I still love mine.:D

Finding the best case is an individual choice I think. I for myself just bought one on Amazon for roundabout 5 Euros and I'm satisfied.
Im thinking about trying the case-mate Tough Case. Anyone got this and can say something about it?

If you're looking for a holster and case that are not too bulky, the best I've found is the cheap ($6 shipped on ebay) holster and case combo. Here's a pic on amazon, but I went the ebay route http://www.amazon.com/Sensation-Shellster-Kickstand-Horizontal-T-Mobile/dp/B006JDW474/ref=sr_1_1?s=wireless&ie=UTF8&qid=1335491986&sr=1-1

As for the kickstand, nope it doesn't really work. You have to pull the phone from the shell to make it fit in the holster with the screen facing outward. But you can sit the phone + case in the holster in a way that it acts as a kickstand. I mainly wanted a way to carry my phone without it gathering lint in my pocket so don't care about the kickstand.

Protection is not as good as the Seido active + holster, nowhere near, but I had that and it's very bulky and the rubber cover peels back every time you put it in the holster. This case doesn't look like a huge brick on my belt and works well.

So $6 case > $35 case IMO. :)

7 months down the road, the rubbery part is no longer staying glued to the clear plastic, power button area, volume control area are loose, bottom is coming off. Superglue will hold it for about a day or two and then it dislodges itself again. Will try a torch to soften the plastic a bit maybe it will stick ...
