I'm thinking about using the Pattern Lock to secure my Note 8 when I'm out and about. One of the security issues I've observed (and read about) is that repeated use of the pattern with your fingers leaves a nice little smudge trail for someone else to follow. But it seems that this could be partially mitigated if the position of the pattern lock were simply shifted on the screen with each use (so that you're never/rarely making the unlock pattern in the exact same place). This could be even more effective if the app used some methods of moving the lock such that your repeated smudge paths would naturally (by nature of the lock being moved) be partially "overwriting" each other (making it more difficulty for an attacker to determine any clear smudge path). Has anyone come across an App that enables something like this? I've done some initial hunting in the Play store, but haven't been able to find anything.
I'm also open to other thoughts and suggestions.
