What are the challenges to porting Android to the Lumia?

Challenges are alot of dev time is needed and there needs to be enough interest, It may well be in the pipeline already but I think a newer Android build would run poorly on the single core and 512mb ram, I know it has been done on the Nokia N9 but assume the bootloader is totally different on the lumia and would involve some kind of HSPL before you could install any custom ROMs.

changelog only happens when there is port for android , there is no android port for 800 till now

And the Nokia N9 has 1gb ram. and even there, the latest nitdroid isn't really smooth...
