Never took me that long to boot in or out of QHUSB. But you can hold it as long as you like.

I've done it a few times, and the last three actually timed it. But the thing is, grab on and don't let go!

try pressing power + vol up for up to 90 secs. the orange LED just flash in less than a second but my phone does not turn on. done the same thing with power+vol down but got same result. i guess jtag is my only option, unless a genius developer can make a software that can revive a dead htc one m8 on QHSUSB_BULK mode.

I have the same issue, I'm really feeling bad.

what I did is:
- I was on Viper one Latest.
- and wiped everything (unfortunately) except my External SD.
- and Installed latest Revolution ROM (9.1) which has a new firmware.
- after finishing installing, I click on Reboot (TWR). and the device never woke up.

any new idea?

Hi All,

One of my friend got M8 and one fine day phone went to bootloop automatically and then he rebooted the phone into bootloader and did a sideload of custom rom/may be stock back (he don't know actually) but he said he flashed TWRP. Now after flasing the ROM the phone never started.

Issue is now the computer also did't recognise the device. If I plugin into the wall charges sometimes orange LED glows and sometime not.

It also not booting/ Not going to bootloader. Please help me to fix the phone as it's a imported version from US and indian service center will not help this.

Does anyone of you want to sell your Dead M8, as i have a phone whose LCD is broken and body got damaged as it fell badly from 3rd floor, but phone is on, on aliexpress everything will cost me approx 90$ so if anyone of u can give in less price ill go for it..

I don't help by email. It defeats the purpose of the forum, to have a community for everyone to share and learn.

You can't do much of anything if the screen does not come on. You also haven't given any details about how the phone got to this state. Did it happen after trying to flash something, or some other mods? What specifically (step by step, as much as you know or can remember) has been done to the phone so far?
