[Q] Mac and SD card issues

Ok, i have a Sandisk 64g card and a mac book pro with OSX 10.8.3
I cannot set read/write permission on the card, for it only shows read only. My question is do i need to reformat to something other than fat 32? Or is there a way to change the permissions without erasing the card? Thanks!

Pretty sure Mac's support Fat32. You sure it isn't formatted NTFS?

/smacks head..... Didn't even think to check read/write permissions. I used the Android file transfer tool with the GN8 plugged in vis USB. Works fine tho kind of PITA some times. You cancer and delete files to and from system storage and external card.

I'll look into R/W permissions tomorrow
