[Q] make "n" button do the same thing as the power button?

Quite simply, I find the power button inconveniently located on the NC, especially since it is obscured when my NC is installed in my leather folio case.

So, I would much prefer if the "n" button did the same duty on a running NC as the power button normally does, and let me just use the "Home" soft button for home.

Anyone have an idea how to do this? I tried tweaking the keymap a little bit with no success.

I am running ICS, but I think it would be the same for CM7. Sounds like you may have found the correct file, but here goes: system/usr/keylayout/qwerty.kl. The power button is 116 and the home button is 102. I would just swap button names around, reboot and you should be good to go

The button remapper worked perfectly. Would be better if I can make long press do power and short press home, but for now this is pretty much perfect.
