[Q] Make Ps3 controller go to sleep?

Is there a way to make the PS3 controller auto go to sleep after a period of inactivity like the OUYA controller does? I much prefer the PS3 controller to the OUYA, but it's always on and connected unless I turn off the OUYA. Stays on during movies ect.
