[Q] Manage App/Settings Backup and Restore?

I personally prefer Google's built-in backup and restore function. It was working great for the first week that I had my N6 as I was flashing back and forth between ROMs. Now, when I boot up a fresh ROM, I'm only presented with several old backups of my N6 (greater than 2 weeks old) as well as backups of my old G3 and even my old Galaxy SIII.

Why has Google stopped taking new backups of my phone? Is there a way to manage/delete old and duplicate backups that I no longer need?

It most likely has something to do with the gapps that you may have flashed which causes problems as Google built in back up and restore is not meant for rom installations on a daily or weekly basis.

I never considered that it could be the gapps. Now that I think about it, I was using a different set of gapps and then switched to PA. Dang, I cant remember what I was using prior. That could have been the cause.

Has anyone figured out how to get rid of old backups to make room for new ones yet? When setting up a fresh ROM I am only prompted by 8 OLD OnePlus One backups, updated Nexus 7 2013 backup, and sometimes updated OnePlus One update. When I got my Nexus 6 a month ago it would appear there was already no more room for automatic backups using Google's new method, as I don't even have a single Nexus 6 backup available during ROM setups. I really hope there is a way to clear out all those old (60 days for some of them now) backups.
