[Q] Missing internal storage eMMC bug?

I have honestly tried searching and can't seem to find anything that answers this question. My i777 is, and always has been completely stock and is not rooted. It came with Gingerbread 2.3.6 (I think that's right) and before I was aware of the problem with the eMMC bug, I did the official upgrade to ICS 4.0.3. I've read everything I can about the eMMC bug and my chip is 0x19, so I am at risk especially since I have the AT&T official ICS rom. I can't recall if I've ever done a reset / wipe since ICS was installed, but I suspect that I did when I first installed it. When I open task manager and look under storage, I have the following:

System storage: 350MB/1.97GB

USB storage: 2.10GB/11.36GB

The used and available USB storage should add up to close to 16GB. Combined, I only have 13.46GB.

At first I figured that that must be the way it's supposed to be, but I've seen other screen shots (on other i777s) of this same screen and those two did add up to nearly 16GB. Can some of you check your phones to see what you have? The reason I'm concerned is about the possibility of damage to some of the internal memory caused by the eMMC bug. I was planning on returning to a stock GB rom until all of this gets resolved, but if I already have damage, I thought I would see about a replacement. Thanks for your help.

Thanks for checking. I just found where I saw the Galaxy S2 that had almost 16GB. It was in a Youtube video comparing the International version S2 and S3. I would think that the memory should have been the same for the AT&T model. This S2 shows 5.44GB/11.49GB.

I just realized my mistake. I was thinking that this was showing 5.44GB used and 11.49GB free. It must mean 5.44GB used out of a total of 11.49GB.

Thanks again for checking.

My guess would be something similar to computers, you may be rated at 250g, but after you've installed your OS out shows you only having 243g free. It doesn't show the other available storage because it's (should be anyhow) a separate, hidden, partition you only see when you need to do a reformat out anything of the like.

[EDIT]... Please correct me if I'm wrong.

On that, I'm sure you are correct. the 11.36GB is probably what is left out of 16GB after all of the operating system is installed.

The problem was my interpretation of what the numbers indicated. I mistakenly thought that the first number was the amount used (which is is) and the second number was the amount free (which it is not). The second number was the total, which also included the amount already being used.
