[Q]Modding framework-res.apk?

Hey, i was trying to change the background of framework-res.apk to change it on most Android's apps (to make a new ROM) but when i try to recompile i always get error, i followed guides that i found here in xda but none of them seem to work... I editet Styles.xml and then created my background.png file, resized it and moved it to drawable-mdpi, but i can't build the res.apk!
