Has anyone noticed verizon is showing the Xoom at $599 with one year plan instead of 2?

Click on the buy button, and it will show a option to select 1 yr, and price remains at $599.

This will make the cost at $840 (excluding activiation $35). Not bad price considering 1yr data plan, 4G upgrade, Honeycomb!

I just tried to add the xoom to the cart and then choose the 1gb a month (20.00) plan without success. I tried both the 1yr and 2yr in the select box at the time I added it to cart. I get an error that the plan is not available

Assuming that there "is" a subsidized price... would there be any reason that BestBuy doesnt also provide that pricing model?

I have a bad feeling that when I go in there tomorrow morning, they arent going to know what the hell I'm talking about...

I have been trying to add for about 3 hours now since it went live. The fine print does say $599 with 2 yr plan, so we will see soon.

Now it says $799 for 1 yr :(
