There is no player in .apk extension with auto equalizer.. But you can use any music player you want and use this equalizer app.. This has the Auto Preset feature u r lookin for.. Try it.. I had good experience with music clarity and bass effects and also Virtualizer effect..
It does not work for me, it says it can't load because it's incompatible or another app is controlling the sound effects. As a random fact, I do not use voodoo sound anymore. Also the Superuser from ardadat's kernel is not working properly on my 2.3.4 ROM; can I get root access just by flashing the official superuser zip after restoring the firmware via odin ?There is no player in .apk extension with auto equalizer.. go to dev section n download it.. No, it's not, it uses the same tag-based detection to select the preset.which player r u using? Have u installed beats audio? If so, then beats audio alone will control effects.. it wont allow another equalizer to work.. i hv experienced it.. otherwise tel me had u installed dsp manager and den uninstalled it??

Yes u can flash cwm and install superuser after u have flashed rom... but rom should be custom or deodexed.. hence root wil be open.. if u r using any official rom u wont be able to access root.. so u flash any custom rom to ur fone.. angeeks rom ics is the best rom i have used.. great battery backup.. s3 UI and s3 music player... had grt equalizer settings too.. try it..

Which one r u talking about? Equalizer app or S3 music player app's equalizer?? If its Equalizer app which i provided link above, yes it selects tag-based to select preset.. Its just a probability.. It won't change custom for every song.. No equalizer is like tat.. U must change it to ur requirement if u want.. Next time pls be brief about ur problems bro, otherwise nobody can help u..!!!
I meant I read somewhere (can't find it anymore) that the (SGS3, I think or one of the Samsung Player devices with soundalive) music player has auto equalizer which scans the track itself and not the tag to set the appropiate eq. Thanks anyway.
