[Q] My PC doesn't recognize OP5 but charges.

Hello all,

My oneplus 5 was using on pie with TWRP installed for few days. Then one day I decided to change rom. My PC doesn't detect the device. I checked in both linux and windows. None works.

Tried Methods:
Adb
Changing usb mode to MTP/File Transfer
Recovery mode.
Fastboot Mode.
Qualcomm Mode.

Checked usb-devices,lspci -v in linux but doesn't return device.
In windows the device manager doesn't show any entry.

Now I did a stupid thing. Thinking this as some kernel fault I shared rom files from one mobile to my OP5 using shareIt and flashed the rom and stupidly formatted data. Internal is formatted so no way to recover my mobile.

You tried a different USB cable? I had the exact same issue and it was actually the USB cable that was faulty but it had worked perfectly fine in the past. Also try a friends computer or something, even though this is a slim chance.
