I have an early developer HTC Titan here with lack of many features. But I got an actual .nbh File for the Titan but nothing more.

How do I flash a WP7 Mango nbh?

Last time I did that stuff I had a WM6 device :) Easy stuff.

Can anybody help?

Flashing a Titan

I am anxiously waiting for Titan's ATT release. Good that you have one and are developing stuff for it.

Talk extensively with Cotulla and the DFT to make sure that their RSPL/HSPL works on the Titan. Then it should be easy enough to look at the differences between the current Mango (7720.68) releases for, say, the HD7 (which appears to be about the same manufacturing philosophy and technology as the Titan - though of less capability) and the Titan which is probably not a 7720.68 release but something closer to 7712 or 7704 etc. You could then build from there. But I would think that the MS Dev system would keep you up to date with Mango builds and let you use the OSPL system though Dev or Zune to keep your Titan up to Mango release standard..

I was wondering the same thing as there is a newer version to what i have.

I bet it has to be done via usb host mode and a gold card and y cable. By holding down vol down and the cam button.

Unless you can find a titan Romupdateutility.exe maybe the one from the hd7 will work.

Find a HD7 Euro rom extract using winrar to a folder

take out the RUU_signed.nhb and the SPL_Signed.nbh, then rename the Titan nbh to RUU_signed.nhb and run the updateutil.

Dont know if it will work but worth a try.

Well, the WP7 is the latest build but there is loads of HTC dev crap on it - preventing all other stuff from working the right way :)

Since there is a signed nbh I guess we need a RUU or something like that to flash it via bootloader right?

On other devices I had a .exe and a simple doubleclick was enough :D

normally you can use the ROMUpdateUtility.exe from another wp7 phone
if you look at dft then you see that they use one from 2007 !!!!!
I also flashed my phone using the stock ROMUpdateUtility.exe from leo :)

but as always at your own risk !!!

Moved to The HTC Titan general forum

The question is device specific so i think it should go there.

Take it easy
