right now i'm using the quarx nightly for my defy+. my problem with it is that it doesnt seem to be very stable. lots of errors that ask me if i want to wait or force stop, lots of launcher redraws (thats why i want the supercharger thing working). I was very excited to install JB/ICS and experiencing the holo UI, but i dont really need it. i actually miss Go launcher, and probably will use it with what ever ROM i decide to flash next.

some details - got latest quarx nighly, JB, on my MB526. find it somewhat buggy.

Try fixing permissions.
Im going to assume you wiped data and didn't restore app data using titanium backup.

Sent from my MB525 using xda app-developers app

I wiped data, don't know what is the app data you're talking about, and as I didn't used the previous ROM in it's rooted era (it was rooted for mere minutes before I installed quarx), didn't have use for titanium backup at all.

About permissions, em, what permissions? of? what do I change about them? how? is there a ROM that comes with that to begin with? I used quarx for little more than 2 days, I really prefer just installing better ROM, if such thing exists (I get the impression quarx is quite popular).
