Ok, so I had a HTC Thunderbolt with Verizon. I have had my 16GB Micro SD card for awhile. We switched to TMobile, placed my card into a LG G2X and WHAM! NOTHING! No phone will read it, my laptop or desktop won't read it. However the phones (old and new) and computers read the 2GB card T-Mobile sent with my Sensation.
I have photos and videos of my kids on the 16gb card and I am just beside myself that I have lost them....or so I think. Any advice or help someone can give me? Thanks!!
I had a issue similar to this.... Corrupted. Got a new SD through HTC. Didn't cost a thing and was here in three days. It worked perfectly. They said my SD was defected.
Sent from my HTC Sensation 4G using XDA App
It's not the original Sensation card (looks like 2GB) that's the issue. It's the 16GB that looks like it has the issue. Guessing it's a separate purchase.
@ryansgirl101302, Have you got a microSD card reader, if so what happens when you use that directly, ignoring any phones. If nothing else it should come back (on a PC) and say something like corrupted, Format Now ? DON'T DO THAT YET.
I had an issue on a SD card in the Sensation, that needed a full re-format, only switched the dammed phone off :-(( I've also had two other microSD cards that worked fine then complete and utter failure, PC/Linux/Phone all found it impossible to fix.
BTW was the 16GB, partitioned with an additional ext or just a single FAT partition.
