[Q] New phone battery jumping after JB

Got a new GB version of the phone on Amazon a few weeks ago and it's been working fine, never rooted.
Upgraded OTA to JB yesterday and have been having crazy battery jumping since.
When I try charging, it charges for a minute or two and then shows 100%.
Tried factory reset but the issue persists.
Any suggestions?
