Back in September I Rooted, flashed, big parted and ROM'd my Xoom. Incase you haven't already guessed I haven't got a ****ing clue what I'm talking about.
My Xoom is a 604 UK Wifi Xoom.
OK that's not strictly true I get the basics but I'm not even vaguely involved in the android/rooting scene.
From what I remember I rooted my Xoom the installed omni 4.4.4 using TWRP and CWM. I also had my Xoom overclocked to 1.5ghz.
Anyway fast forward to last night and I turned my Xoom on for the first time in a while. I was playing about with it and noticed under the system updates there was an update available so I clicked to download and install it.
After the install it appears to have screwed up my root access, I assume most people on here knew this would happen! I thought as it was coming through the update option on the tablet it would be fine. Anyway I just wondered how to get the root back? do I have to wipe the tablet and start again?
I'd be greatful if someone could let me know the procedure for this sort of stuff. And also guide me to the best/latest firmware/root/partition/kernal/rom whatever.
