Yes Full wipe and Dalvik wipe. I then flashed shostock 2.1 and then flashed siyah kernel newest available.

Try flashing NFC remover and then NFC enabler.

I'm having the same problem on my S2 (i777). Android beam works fine but the NFC tags don't work. My friend's S3 can beam with my phone and can also read the S3 tags.

I have tried Cyangonmod, AOKP, and Jellybam (Edit: Tried Shostock 3). I did full wipes before each install.

I have the stock battery.

I have tried NFC remover and then NFC enabler.

Edit: I have also tried using the S3 to format the tag. Still won't work with my S2.
Edit: Just tried Shostock. Still not working.
Edit: Installed stock rom. Rooted. Flashed NFC enable. Still not working.
