[Q] No auto correct on keyboard with Google+

This doesnt occur on my Nexus One on stock 2.3.6 but I notice when typing text on G+ using my Xoom (US) that all the autocorrection and suggestions don't appear. That seems strange given they are all Google products.

Just wondering am I alone in seeing this or have others noticed this behaviour.
