Sent from my XT1033 using XDA Free mobile app

I have unlocked the bootloader on my Moto G.
I have also flashed ClockworkMod Touch sucsessfully, but it did not boot after the first reboot, even when I said yes to "Disabling the stock recovery reflashing".
Now, whenever I enter fastboot mode (POWER + VOLDOWN) and select RECOVERY, it comes up with "No command." and a picture of an android lying down, with its front open, with warning symbol. (See attached)
I have tried reflashing the recovery using fastboot, but the same problem happens.
Any help?
Got same error after OTA Update to 5.0.2.
Getting this error just hold power for 3sec, Keep Holding and tap vol+ an you are in.

Hi, I also upgrade my moto g to lollipop 5.0.2 using OTA update, the first condition of my android was unlocked, rooted and CWM installed, after I upgrade it to lollipop all of my android conditions is gone except the unlock, how did you do the sequence of your way? is it hold the power button first then hold the vol up or hold vol up first then push the power button or push those button in a same time then lose the power button after 3 seconds?

update: I have tried your method, but it seems that it doesn't work on my moto g, is there something I did wrong? (FYI: I've tried all method that I mentioned above)

update2: I finally able to enter recovery mode, the way I did this is by press and hold Power Button and then tap Volume UP. When I write this update my phone is still wiping the cache, I do not know if this is the way lollipop wiping the cache or my android's cache is big but it tooks about 1 minute.

Select "Recovery" in the screen message "no command" press Power after Vol+ and release.

Unable to install custom recovery on Moto G(XT1033) last running 5.0.2 OTA

I have a Moto G(XT1033) that went out of charge one day and refused to boot again. I now see the Motorola splash screen, but only a blank screen after that - no touch response or any thing.

I successfully unlocked my phone, and attempted to install custom recoveries. Here is the procedure I followed
  1. Erased the recovery using mfastboot-v2 (normal fastboot did not help either) twice as instructed
    Code:
    >mfastboot erase recovery
    erasing 'recovery'...
(bootloader) Erase allowed in unlocked state
    OKAY [ 0.036s]
    finished. total time: 0.036s
  2. Flashed the recovery image using mfastboot-v2 (normal fastboot did not help either) twice as instructed in post #15. I used the twrp 2.8.7.0-falcon images given in the concerned TWRP thread as well as the 2.8.6.0 official version given on the TWRP website
    Code:
    >mfastboot flash recovery twrp-2.8.7.0.-falcon_STOCK.img
    target max-sparse-size: 256MB
    sending 'recovery' (10014 KB)...
    OKAY [ 0.369s]
    writing 'recovery'...
    OKAY [ 0.213s]
    finished. total time: 0.587s
  3. Disconnected USB
  4. Directly went to recovery by selecting VolDown, then VolUp

However, it boots to the stock recovery screen with Android logo on its back. I have to press Power+VolUp to enter stock recovery menu.

I have also tried installing clockwork recoveries - 6.0.4.7-falcon version from one of the threads (can't remember which) and philz recovery from the thread on xda, but it was no use - stock still remains.

How do I install custom recoveries?

No Command Error Fix

Press volume up for 10 seconds and then just tap power button once and release both.
Nope Bro , i tried on all mobiles

the solution is that keep pressing again and again all buttons ( volume up , down , power , home ) and suddenly screen of no command will change nd then stop pressing the buttons

The problem is that you are using an unsupported recovery that hasn't been updated for years. I would assume that the method used to disabled the stock recovery overwrite is no longer working therefore CWM still gets replaced by the stock recovery. I would recommend flashing TWRP, which is currently under active development, and contains all of the functionality of CWM.

Also, the 'mismatched partition size' error is normal when flashing custom recoveries.

Oops, looks like this thread is alot older and longer than I thought...

What worked for me was, when I got to the 'no command' screen, I just pressed the volume up and power buttons frantically, then the recovery menu came up!

well, i read a lot about this kind of problem , still cannot find solution for my particular issue. I have screen locked tablet with only one button (Power) and reset hole . I managed to get to recovery mode with holding power button and needle in reset hole , tablet response with no command , most of solutions here (and in other sites in net) suggest to try key combination and this is kinda hard when you have only one button available. Did someone have some solution for this cuirious situation?
p.s.: i tried again power+reset but every time when i hit reset tablet just reseting . tried hold power button - nothing , the only action i can get is when i tab twice power button and tablet reset again.
