I have a rooted MF3 Galaxy S4 and my problem is that I don't have gps anymore. I have Safestrap installed and after installing any custom roms, I flash the proper module, so that everything works, like wifi, etc. Even if I go back to my stock rom, I have no gps. I've searched (XDA and Google) and haven't found any similar problems. Has anyone come across this problem and found a fix for this?

Q's go in Q&A. ;)

This was a common problem with the S3, but I have not heard of this problem on the S4. There was a stickied thread in the AT&T S3 Q&A section with a ton of info. Not sure if any of that info applies to this device but its worth a look.

Thanks for the quick response back. I'll search around for S3 GPS problems and see if I find a solution. If I do, I'll post back.

Edit: Sorry, I missed the first part of your post and I agree, this should have went into the Q&A section. Maybe someone could move it for me please.

I fixed my gps problem after taking your advice and looking on some S3 threads. I think we will have more problems with the S4 after reading about how big of a problem it is with the S3. There were a couple of solutions, but the easiest one was that some S3 users were factory resetting their devices while on the the stock rom. After doing this, indeed my gps problem is now fixed. I didn't lose root, safestrap or anything I can't restore through Titanium Backup. I think a culprit might have been using a custom rom (Hyperdrive for Verizon) and changing the APN from Verizon to AT&T. I don't know enough about this, but I'm thinking this might have corrupted the gps on my device. Hopefully this might be some help to someone in the future should they get to a point where their gps doesn't work.
