Have my EVO and gTab flashed so that's not new, but the streak is. I have it rooted via superoneclick, but want to install honeycomb, reading this;
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1088225
they start by saying "be aware that you CANNOT just use a pkg to downgrade to 2.2.2" but looking at settings/about I am at 2.2.2 (as I said I have flashed nothing but simply rooted).

So, do I need to go the whole NVFLASH, etc. or can I skip that based on the fact I am already running the 2.2.2.?

Thanks... looking forward to it!

If you want to install HoneyStreak you have to use the NVFlash method he explains in the very first post... do EXACTLY as he says and it'll go off without a hitch

Likewise if you want to go back to Froyo you have to use the NVFlash method containing the original images from the factory

Thanks for the reply, worked just as you said. So far, ROM is fast, clean, a FC on folder organizer lite (an app that let's you create shortcuts on the desktop w/o the labels) and the other 'buggy' thing that may just be a setting is each app installed puts a shortcut on the desktop (over the google link making it tough to move) so I need to find where to say 'dont put a shortcut on'

Thanks again.

Open the market, then got my apps, hit the menu button in the upper right corner of the screen, there should be a setting there to turn off creating shortcuts (half awake so this may not be exactly right)

hmmm, ok so let's look @ the main thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=968

How many [Q] are there? A LOT and most at the top. What constitutes what's a 'general' question?

I will rephrase in a 'general' way. Since it's NOT development. cdzo72, thanks for the reply, and that would make sense. I can start the market, see the menu but the choices are;
Accounts
Clear Search
Purchase History
App content filter
Help
Contact US.

So I didn't see a 'general' spot to not create shortcuts.

@lufc, hboot partition question, restoring via NVflash, Installing using Ubuntu ... those are all 'general' quesitons yet mine is not. Give me a break, moderators really need to moderate content (language, porn, etc.) and not fine things like this or do it for everyone!
