The apps that I have installed from the nook store are wanting to be updated by the play store. I will would think that the apps optimized for the nook would be the best. Should I just let the play store update them?

I haven't found an answer to this question.

Thanks in advance.

when you update it, the nook is going to ask you if you want to replace the nook app with the play store app, and also will tell you that it will store the nook app in the "cloud." I updated my wife's nook like this and it runs fine. the only thing is the play store app icons appear blurry on the rotational desktop since the icons are not optimized for that active display.

Right. I'm just wondering which is better I told the play store not to update those apps.

Stock does not have USB mass storage, but does have MTP transfer by USB cable. You can use that to transfer. It does need unknown sources enabled to install apps, but there is not a setting in stock for it though. You must go to my HD/HD+ CWM thread linked in my signature and flash the Extras zip (item 3). You do not need to root.

Does your CWM have anyway of enabling the mass usb storage cause MTP does not work with me, my computer always says wpd error contact microsoft then a wizard pops ups asking for disc to install the software.

No. But you need to make sure that android debugging is off in stock settings or MTP will not work.
