Anyone else having an issue?

I have a GTX 770 card and GE experience says everything checks out.

I am also using Windows 8 Pro.

When I click on the game I want to play from the PC it loads on the PC and shows the Nvidia logo (looks like the green controller) then just doesn't load it on the Nvidia Sheild.

Then my only choice is to resume or quite on the controller. When I resume it just goes back to same screen to resume or quit...

All drivers are updated, firmware is up to date on Shield.

Not sure what else to check.

I am also running 3 monitors on my PC. I even tried to just use 1 monitor and changed the resolution to 720 to match shield with same results.

Did you install the beta drivers? The most updated aren't new enough unless you have beta drivers checked in GFE

yeah I have the latest version of the Experience and the latest (beta drivers now). Going to try to reboot system, go back to single screen and try it again.

This is a good forum in case someone else has the same issues :)

Thanks agrabren.

Working with tech support from Nvidia via Chat right now. They seem to think my firmware version on my Android is old. But system wont let me update. Says up to date...

Hello,

I had some serious issues getting this to work but I have made some progress.

I have to do the following to get as far as I did:

Setup:
Windows 8.1 Pro x64
Window Firewall off
Nvidia Driver 326.41 (Yesterday)
Geforce Experience 1.6

Could not find PC hit system update and it said version 50. When installing the notes said it will add Nvidia streaming support so I accepted.

After many failed attempts to get it to see my computer I had to turn on 5GHz and N only for the PC to show. Once I did this I was able to see the computer.

Steam will launch in 720p when i hit the button but I got a black screen for about an hour. So then I downloaded a supported game and that works right away. I downloaded a second game it opens and streams right away.

But the controller does not work at all for input (works fine in Android but not streaming).

Tried Steam again but no go, opted in July26th beta and it still does the black screen. It will open and quit properly though.

I am stuck with Steam not even working at all and games the run great but will not accept input from the controller.

Beta is Beta but what a terrible launch, I could barley find in stock. Get home and cant even test this out because of the controller. Very silly stuff!

My shield updated itself from a july 5th firmware to july 26th firmware and streaming works great now.

Having same issue and just went to check for the update and it is available so I am downloading now. One thing I noticed is that the notes of the update state "GeForce PC streaming Beta enabled." So hopefully this update will fix the problem.

Update:

After installing update 50 I am now happily playing Skyrim and GTAIV on my shield.

Had anyone the opportunity to compare the streaming performance against the Splashtop application on GPlay? Just to know if it will be worth to try to extract the client from the shield dump to see it running on other devices or if the performance will be on par (the streaming client on Shield is developed by Splashtop inc. too).
