I am trying to install Miui on my defy . One of my friend who sucessfully installed it on his defy emailed me the instructions . I followed the instructions and was able to root the phone using SuperoneClick, I then installed 2ndinitdefy and it said 'installed sucesfully' and the LED turned green . It then told me to reboot my phone and press the Volume down key when the LED turns Blue to enter the boot menu . I tried doing it many times but in vain.I then uninstalled 2ndinitdefy thinking that i will reinstall it a second time . After installing it when i rebooted the device it now does not go past the Motorola logo...just seems to be doing nothing . I tried rebooting a number of times but the same result...........XDA Experts please ..please..please help!!!

Try entering stock recovery. Power+vol down. You will be shaown the android logo with an exclamation mark. can you get to the stock recovery?
Thanks Rajarshi...i did try that option before posting here, but it did not seem to help either . I finally gave up and took my phone to the Motorola service centre . Not sure what the guy at the service centre did , but after 10 minutes he handed over the phone to me and it was as good as new .....all for a charge of 350 Rs;)

The simple mistake you did was you didnt turn off usb debugging before going into the bootmenu after installing CWM for the 1st time. It had happened to me and I just flashed a sbf rather then wasting my money for a simple job.
Did the service center really take 350Rs to just flash an SBF?
