[Q] Odd problem, phone won't boot.

Volume button on my HD was playing up for the last few days so I decided to reset the phone today via the power button just incase it might help, since then it hasn't started up again, I get 3 buzzes after I've removed and replaced the battery and then the amber light flashes constantly.

I was running CM7 for a while but went back to stock as I missed the sense UI so I should be on the most recent update.

It's a pain because I'm on holiday so have no access to my PC, I have access to Macs but I'm not sure there is even an HTC sync style application for that system.

Ok, phone was left off for ~24 hours, battery totally flat, I switched it on and at screen came alive, unfortunately the sim hadn't been inserted properly and phone demanded I reset it, when I did back on the fritz, will give it another 20 minutes or so, hopefully will be back to the same state where I can start it again and go from there, were there any bad 2.3 updates that I possibly installed when I went back to stock?
