Moved into Siberia with a clean flash of syberia_cepheus-v3.8-20200715-1836-OFFICIAL.zip. Not rooted - plain Siberia as installed
Mostly excellent: Good battery life, Android Auto works, Bluetooth great, Work Profile ok, smooth, AI button, MIUI camera and Google Camera work great
Minor problems
- Some apps recognise the phone as rooted, when it's not. One app recognised it's a custom rom. Anything that can be done WITHOUT installing Magisk? (Work profile detects Magisk so I can't use it)
- AOSP keyboard crashes. Not problem as I can use other keyboards.

With the latest Siberia, Google Play System Updates are stuck on Sep 2019. They offer to download and then ask to reboot, but never get updated.
Is there a way to manually install these through TWRP or another way>

when i use magisk v21 it goes into fastboot mode
flash magisk-debug.zip before flashing magisk 21.
You can find it on telegram in revos channel
I installed magisk but does not grant permission to the applications, even granting in the settings, it is denying permissions.

It seems like every developer is working on a custom ROM for android 10. It's good but I recognized that in 10 actually are more bugs to solve as in 9.
So my suggestion is first, one last update syberia 9 with solved known issues and then we've got a nearly perfect pie and then is a lot of time to solve the problems in android 10
Hopefully the wish will be recognized

I got the system up and running. I can use Google Pay in conjunction with PayPal and the NFC chip for shopping. Since this probably causes many problems, I thought I'd show you how I could make it all work.
1. Unlock the bootloader
2. Install TWRP. Follow the insturuction.
3. Use the TWRP to flash the Vendor 9.8.1 and the Syberia Rom. Also flashes with TWRP Magisk and Open GApps. Follow these instructions. I used the Micro Open GApps version.
4. Set up the device and then install the Magisk Manager.
5. Use the Magisk Manager and check if everything is up to date and what the SafetyNet status is like. If "ctsProfile: false" install in Magisk the "MagiskHide Props Config" module and configure it for the Xiaomi Mi 9.
6. Now follow this instruction
7. Install Google Pay and PayPal. Hide all "critical" apps in Magisk, like PayPal and Google Pay.
8. Connect PayPal with Google Pay
I very much hope that I have not forgotten anything but actually that should be everything.
