Hey just wondering, Using Honeystreak R8, and since HC cant seem to go beyond using 1.9GB storage for apps. I am wondering, whats the best option to have it install or move the apps to sd? Would apps2sd still be ideal? I am so used to things from my G1, even my Xperia play where it just did a symlink option and the system itself just had everything install to SD.

Anyways figured I would check here. Kinda annoyed that I cant even update my apps cause it says no storage. =/

I'm pretty sure you can use a previous version of Honeystreak to increase your app storage space. I personally use the 4GB of app space and then upgrade to R8.

Ok, so an older version would give me 4GB? Which one? (Wish I had known this back when I wondered why people are using 2-3 diff versions of it lol)
Also is it gonna just let me downgrade to the older one or am I going to have to use nvram method to even get that going?

The NVflash for R2 has the option 2,3,4 and 6GB partitions and I'd guess that you'd have run that again to upgrade to R8 again.

Finally. A real reason for me to Flash R2 lol. I always wondered why people did that. Even made posts wondering about the versions etc. Even mentioned I went from stock HC straight to R8 without issues. So I assume Ill have to rely on Titanium Backup to restore? Also when using NVflash, will I need to worry about my user storage area being wiped? Do I need to back up that all 1st to my PC then flash?

NVflash will wipe everything.
