I had a Nexus S before my Galaxy S II. An Evo3D before the GSII and many other Android devices before the Evo3D. All have been manually rooted and clockworked.
Will the same procedure work for rooting my Sprint Galaxy Nexus that worked for my Nexus S?
That procedure was that I would boot into fastboot and from command prompt type: "fastboot oem unlock", then "fastboot flash recovery 'recovery_name'", then I would boot into Android and copy SU to the internal memory. After that I would boot back into clockwork recovery and flash the SU zip. Voila! All rooted with clockwork.
Can I use this same procedure for a newly acquired Sprint Galaxy Nexus? One last thought: is there a flashable SU floating around for a Sprint Galaxy Nexus? EDIT: think I found a flashable SU zip here.
Thanks a lot!
