[Q] Ouya stopped working

so i hit the button light doesn't turn on the device dosen't turn on and the ouya is making a whining noise. Is it dead jim?

One of mine has done the same. Stuck in APX mode (plug it into your PC & see what is shows as).

Was a replacement from OUYA only 6 weeks ago.

Fan runs continuously, LED doesn't light up, turns off if button is held in. That is all.

my Ouya also locked in apx mode while using kodi, the last week. I look for a solution (my warranty is out) and try everything, but nothing worked.
now I'll try a homemade rebailling, if it don't work, I will throw it to the garbage.
