why with the rom manager? my friend reccomend me to use rom manager..
Download over clocking widget from the market and save it to the phone.then once you apply the widget it will allow you to ramp the power up. I just rooted yesterday and this is working great!

Dont use ROM manager use this guide http://tablet-crunch.blogspot.com/2011/01/lg-optimus-t-rooting-recovery-rom.html to install custom recovery if you want to keep going it also explains how to install custom ROM but i do suggest you get milks CM7 ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=946354 here have fun
