[Q] P6800 compass showing wrong direction

In GMaps and Ingress my compass is pointing in wrong direction, aproximately 90 degrees. When I am facing South, it shows that I am pointing West. The same in portrait and landscape modes. How to fix this?
I tried already rotating through all three axes, drawing the 8 in the air, and different flipping in the air, and nothing has changed.

Try the above "calibration" again, but make sure you're away from metallic objects and magnetic fields
