[Q] phone sometimes dies when using camera with flash

Sometimes when i use the camera with flash and the battery is low my phone just dies.
But on other occasions it might work perfect.
I bought a new battery 2 months ago and i am running ViperS 5.2.1
Does somebody know a solution?

The new battery is a very tight fit

I have the same problem. When battery is under 40%. I have tried CM11 and Carbon roms too, but same problem. A half solution is to underclock cpu to 1.2 GHz (tested on my phone, it dies when battery is under 30%), clean the battery and board contacts. BTW my battery is old, so for me, maybe that's the problem.

Does your phone always crash when the battery is under 30% ?
If this is the case you should try to take a photo when you are charging the phone.
If it works when you are charging you might need another battery.

I have tried right now to take a picture with flash on at battery level 22%. Rom: latest Carbon. It just died. Tried to take a picture with phone carghing from usb, it died. So, i think i'm gonna need a new battery.
